Elizabeth Gregory Home was established in 2006 by members of University Lutheran Church as a non-profit nonfaith-based organization in the University District of Seattle. The organization serves single homeless women in King and surrounding counties by providing transitional housing and a day center. Read more about us in the following sections:

Mission and Values
We believe that women leaving shelters need support to build the skills, confidence, and self-esteem necessary to ensure self-sufficiency in their lives and reunite with their loved ones.

History
The concept of EGH began to form in 2001 at University Lutheran Church in an effort to address the needs of homeless women. EGH is named in honor of Elizabeth Gregory, a woman who devoted her life to service.
